Create your own redbubble shop

How to get started

First of all, open redbubble on a new tab, let's do this together (come on, don't leave me hanging)

  • Click the signup button at the top right corner

  • Then choose artist sign up to start setting up your shop

When you've filled in this information, you'll get a menu with steps to set up your shop.

It is really important to do everything that the "get paid" menu says since you won't be able to get paid otherwise.

Then, take your time to get your shop ready for customers, and that's it, it is that easy for you to start! There are not excuses.

Then start designing and most important, try to have fun, because this is not that easy.

I will now quickly show you how to upload your design and a few tips, just keep scrolling.

Designing

When you have your shop set up, if you click your icon on the top right corner you'll get lots of options, click the circled one that says "add new work", then click "upload new work" (don't mind the other option for now) and choose the photo or design you want to apply. Try to upload designs with good quality and try to make them big so they can fit most of the products redbubble offers.

  • Title: Choose a few words that describe your design, try to make it short and precise.

  • Tags: Well, these are a whole experience. Never use less than 15 since this will make your design a lot harder to find, especially in big or very general niches. To choose your tags you can search the keyword on redbubble and start writing, separated by commas all the words that appear at the top, since those are the ones that people search the most. Of course, feel free to add your own tags and the ones you think are important. Other tools for tags are google trends, merch titans or redbubble index.

  • Description: This might not be the most important thing, but I would recommend always writing a description, even if it's a few words just to try to make the design easier to find. Information you can use for products' descriptions: If it's fitting for a birthday, anniversary, or special day's gifts, who might be interested in this product (music lovers, photography lovers), colors you used...

Now, you have to fit your design in every product redbubble offers by sizing it up or down or replacing the image in a specific product using the option you're given when you click "edit" on the product you are editing to make it more fitting for that product. This can be very useful for stickers because if you upload a png you might want to put a white background if one design separates into different stickers.

Once you've finished all this, check if it's mature content or not and if you have the right to sell that design (make sure to always be sure about this, you want your shop open).
